Privacy Policy
How we handle your personal data. Written in plain English.
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This Privacy Policy is maintained by MindisMoney Media Pvt Ltd ("MindisMoney", "we", "us", "our") to explain how we handle personal data collected through mindismoney.com and related services (the "Platform"). This page reflects our current practices and is not a certification or independent audit. It is issued in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
1. Who we are
MindisMoney is operated by MindisMoney Media Pvt Ltd, incorporated in India with its principal place of business in Bengaluru, Karnataka. For any privacy question or request you can reach us at yo@mindismoney.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email address, hashed password, and any profile information you add.
- Authentication data — one-time codes we email you and Google sign-in identifiers when you choose that option.
- Purchase data — order IDs, amount, currency, payment status, and Razorpay payment references for the All Access Pass. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
- Usage data — pages visited, tool unlocks, favourites, requests, and interactions with content, along with device, browser, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Support data — messages you send us and any information you choose to share while requesting help.
3. How we use your data
- Provide the Platform, verify your identity, and unlock the tools you buy.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and prevent fraud.
- Send transactional emails (sign-in codes, receipts, order updates, security alerts) — these are required to operate your account.
- Send marketing and product emails (newsletter, launches, offers). You can unsubscribe from these at any time using the link in every email.
- Improve the Platform, debug issues, and measure aggregate engagement.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the Platform is used. This includes analytics tools that help us understand traffic patterns and improve pages. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break sign-in and checkout.
5. Sharing with partners and subprocessors
We share limited personal data with the following categories of partners, only to run the Platform:
- Infrastructure & backend — cloud hosting, database, and auth providers that store your account data on our behalf.
- Payments — Razorpay processes Pass payments. Their handling of your payment instrument is governed by Razorpay's own policies.
- Email delivery — Brevo sends transactional and marketing emails on our behalf.
- Tool vendors and affiliate networks — when you claim a tool deal or unlock a partner offer, we may share your email and a redemption identifier with that vendor or affiliate network so they can grant access and track the referral. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Analytics — providers that receive de-identified usage events to report aggregate metrics.
We do not sell your personal data. We disclose data to law enforcement or regulators only when required by Indian law or a valid legal request.
6. Data retention
We keep account and purchase data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Usage logs are kept for a shorter operational window. When retention is no longer required, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can:
- Access, correct, or update the personal data in your account.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity, as provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see Section 10).
To exercise any right, email yo@mindismoney.com from the address on your account. We respond within a reasonable time and no later than what applicable law requires.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted transport (TLS), scoped database access controls, and hashed credentials — to protect your data. No online service is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your password and sign-in code confidential.
9. Children
The Platform is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
